Whew, I could have bought a pair in the 80s for 500 bucks, I thought that was expensive then! That was a nice pair that sold.

That was expensive then. By the early to mid 90s they were bringing $1500-2000. By the late 90's they were $3000. They are not going to get cheaper....

I think they are fine. The heels have been replaced though.

I hope this is open for discussion because for me personally I can’t match the fact of replaced heels and the freshly cut leather of the shank and tongue, ad to that the strong similarity with the Tsjech reproductions which also came through in a pair of boots I started a thread about earlier this year. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209362

If i stated this, is not because in that just moment i thought to invent somethings new for you, but just a true thruth! I got for a while a Cz the same paire identical at this one, same color, same black oles, in general the same manifacture and shape! And belive me, the soules and heeles is the last problem on a well made repro like this, i'd like to see if they have the stamp on the top side and how they are mad! But so far, i'm quite sure in that i stated here on the top. But let's hear others opinion as well, could help better!
