Gravity Knife Lanyards

I am looking to invest in an original gravity knife lanyard, I have a passable repro(bought as such) for comparison. Any help from members on what to look for would be most helpful. The last one I saw on ebay went for in excess of $230. I scoured the Gravity Knife threads and there were some shots but none clearly showing the spring clips and stitching(this may have been deliberate). I own one of the leather compass lanyards but am loathe to separate it it from the compass as both the lanyard and compass are by the same maker. I have what I believe to be an original spring clip(the rest of the lanyard long gone) that came with a Luftwaffe survival pocket knife.

Mark I have talked to 2 FJ vets and they told me they cut that off and kept it in the smock pocket. One even told me that had to turn them in after a jump, along with their jumpboots.
