FJ Para Badges - Recent Arrivals

    Hi Guys,
I thought I would just take a moment to share my three newest Para Badge acquisitions. A good example of each type by their respective makers - Juncker, B&NL, and Assmann. The Juncker is the 2nd type buntmetall, the B&NL has the buntmetall eagle and zinc wreath, and the Assmann is in zinc from mold #2.
Hope you like them as much as I do!

Very handsome Eric! Your Assmann and B&N are in excellent condition for later badges. The Juncker, well, they have always been my favorite. We now have one in the banner.
      Regards,
      John

Hi Eric. Great badges...but are you sure the B&NL eagle is buntmetal? I think it looks like zinc.

          Hi Lorenzo,
I took the loop out and looked at it much closer than I did before, especially around the worn areas on the eagle. I think you may be right. It does look to be finezink also. I assumed it to be buntmetall because of the amount and condition of the finish still present on it. Good eye! I REALLY like it now knowing that all that finish is remaining on zinc!!! Thanks also to you John for the kind words - I noticed the badge in the banner earlier, you couldn't have a more representative piece located there!!!
