Very good idea Daniele to refresh this thread... Indeed, there are beautiful items here ! And so, I can post mine, found in Normandy many years ago :

This is one I bought at a shop locally several years ago through vet walk in. It is a FJR6 helmet for sure. But oddly it has Wehrmacht decals applied upside down. No doubt by the vet.

Here is the other side with similar decal upside down. The camo is a bit worn but the inside is nice.

But of course you ask why it is an FJK 6 helmet for sure? The liner is named to Obj Riedl II/6. Through a connection in the veteran's association over there, Riedl grave was found in Obermausdorf that I believe was located near the Hurtgen Forest? And the FJK 6 fought there?

Yes, elements of FJR6 fought in the Hürtgenwald. I only learned this fact when I toured the area with a German veteran 2 years ago.
