Cloth examples of the Army Parachutists Badge are extremely rare and command very high prices when they are offered for sale. I can only think of a handful of known originals, perhaps six or seven, around the world. Here are some of them. They're from the article published elsewhere on this site.

1943 pattern FSA des Heeres (post-June 1st 1943 restitution) in cloth:

Obverse and reverse views of a 1937 cloth FSA (Heer).

This 1937 cloth FSA (Heer) is on black backing material and has been on a uniform at some point. Some collectors of Fallschirmjaeger material question the existence of cloth versions of the FSA (Heer) before the war and even before the 1943 restitution of the badge.

However, Eric Queen, author of Red Shines The Sun (Bender Publications 2003), has interviewed most of the surviving veterans of the prewar Fallschirm-Infanterie and some of them clearly remembered having cloth versions of their jump badges before WW2.

    Hope this helps.
