Stian, I accept responsibility for your posting of the trousers here.

My 2nd impression is still bad. Those marking are bogus, from a number of points. As Jos stated, the size markings make no sense. But, the markings just don't look good, the LBA one as well. And, whether it be a Panzer wrap, smock, trousers, or atrop tunic......when the markings are bad the item is bad (in the vast majority of cases). Markings is the thing the fakers do not, and perhaps can not, do correctly.

Besides that the lining is a problem as well as the buttons. Otherwise fakers today can sew them together properly. If I have some spare time today I will dig out a pair of mine and post some photos.

I agree with Willi that the markings are bad. I don't think you are offending anyone by posted these trousers in the wrong forum and apparently it is not entirely your fault. There has been some discussion about posting of items in the Fallschirmjaeger forum that are not directly related to FJ but were worn some where along the line by FJ because they were in the Luftwaffe and also it would get more attention in the FJ Forum. I'm not one to start some hate and discontent but I disagree with that line of thought otherwise why would we have just a FJ Forum and a separate Uniforms & Insignia forum. I'm surprised that a few of our Moderators support it when they should be enforcing it. Now saying that I think you should return those trousers and get your money back.

I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like the trousers. Is it just the markings or is it the general design of the trouser as well?

Bill, I agree in theory. Stian asked me, I said sure. The same who can help him here would be the ones going over there to help him. Sometimes people get a speeding ticket for speeding, sometime they don't. Not trying to be cute, but that level of discretionary decision making exists all throughout life.
