Hello Gentleman,

I just ordered this Assman cased Para badge. I would appriciate your thoughts. I was looking for a solid example. Assman was not my first choice, but this piece really took me.

Hi Joseph,
This is a fine early Assmann piece !
I like these badges in a certain way,although the eagle isn't that realistic looking than some other parabadges.
I also like the late jetmoulded ones that look like this one.
I believe Juncker also had a early badge like this,thin and a typical eagle.
I think it's a nice addition to your nice collection !

Excellent Badge! I like Assmann, as well as Juncker. Thank God for some self-imposed restaraints! Super badge Joe, any photos of the case?? I wonder how it compares..

Hello Guys,

Thank you for the responses, I agree with Jos that the eagle lacks realism compared with other makers, but the piece is just awsome anyway. The case it not in that good of condition. Here is a pic.

This piece is coming from Carsten Baldes. I hope two have it in a couple of weeks. Yes, Eric I would like it if you came by the restaurant one Saturday afternoon. In about two weeks I should have all the LW badges in, about seven new pieces since you last saw my collection.
