M38 SD ET68 helmet - first in my collection

    Hi guys,

finaly i found my first FJ helmet to my collection. It is M38 SD ET68 with lot number 618. By lot number 618 this helmet should be from end of 1940 or begin of 1941 (i have this info from book German helmet lot numbers by Brian). Spanner bolts, aluminium liner, black foam, early green grey color. Liner is size 58 and made by Karl Heisler. Helmet comes directly out of woodwork (thanks to my friend Randy for help with this helmet) and is in nice untouched combat look condition. It is a pitty the decal is only about 50% :-/ . Chinstrap looks like it is made from chocolate brown color. Press stud is without marking, just with filigree/flower. More from pics. Thanks for any coments ;-)

    Jiri

Even though the decal is only +/- 50%, one thing is for sure: it is authentic. It is not one you will be wondering whether it is original or not. I personally like it very much, congratulations!!
