    Helmet Cover, waffen fabric?

    hello everybody,
looking at some pictures of FJ, of course !!
I wonder about this one, taken in normandy 44,the helmet cover of the left FJ, would it be in waffen fabric?
    What do you think?

      Great picture!

It seems to be kind of a cover, but not a real cover, it shows some loose on the shell. Maybe some fabric from a zeltbahn used with a strap or a good ss cover reissued on an fj helmet with a strap ?

        Interesting photo
-camo cloth with some belt holding it
        -field made cover

-standart cover with painted camo or

        - factory made cover ))))
What do u like better ??

I just blew the pic up
It’s actually an issue SS helmet cover.
You can see the clip and silver rivit just below the securing strap.

              Hi,
FYI, the middle FJ is being loaded up with the bipod of an 8cm Mortar.

              cheers lennard

O, you are certainly correct; a SS helmet cover.

These troops are not FJ, but are using SS Camouflage covers, I wonder if they could be from the luftlande division.

                          Heer troops in tropical uniforms.

Since the Heer's 22nd Luftlande Division was used during the Battle of Leros, as well as other tropical regions, these could be some of those troops.
