    Wehrpass Covers

    Hey All,

    Haven't seen a poll here before so thought I would pose a question on Wehrpass Covers - I would like to know which type you prefer and if you have a particular reason, why.

    I personally prefer the early, pre-war type with the winged eagle. No particular reason, just like the way the cover is constructed, the look and the feel.

    The early version with the Heer eagle is by far the most pleasing to the eye especially if it seen some use. The early ones are also far better constructed and have superior materials used in their construction.

        I have to agree too,it's the early cover for me, going down in order of preference to the late cover as the least pleasing.

          Yep, early one....not just the cover but generally I just prefer this one!

                  I don't care which cover has the WP, but if i have to choose i'll take the early type because of somekind better appearance.

                      From a purely aethestic point of view, late war. Though I only own one and do not seek them out the evolution of the graphic design is strongest in the later versions.

                      Seems to me most legible, can't divorse myself from what I do every day, scrutinze design.

                          1. Top left - Pre-War Wehrpas
                          2. Top right - War time Wehrpas
                          3. Bottom - Late War Wehrpas

                            Boy is this a tough decision!
                            I voted for late war, but I like all three!
                            I guess Mid-War and Late-War are my favorites if I had to choose.
                            Here are my Wehrpasses, of which I like the Mid-War's quality best.
