REPRO wehrpass and soldbook to the same man!!

for your viewing pleasure a reproduction wehrpass and soldbuch to the same "soldier"someone put some time and effort into these, complete with pictures in uniform (nice shadow behind his head )and a ridiculaous amount of awards for a man serving in a landshutz unit (in combat in Russia )these would not fool any collectors maybe with the exception of a newbie,it just got me thinking about how long it will be before someone can convinceingly reproduce a DKIG or a EK1 entry,i know this would entail alot of work, the correct feldpost # stamp ,the correct name of an officer and the correct style of handwritting but with the money these books with high end awards are bringing in i think its only a matter of time.anyways i hope you all get a good laugh or 2 out of this half assed attempt at creating a reinactors wehrpass and soldbuch!

Travel back in time and be SO busted!

BTW, are the Wehrpass file cabinets "authentic?"

I wouldn't say viewing pleasure at all!!!!

Some strange awards and even the dates of his promotions don't even match up

Very poor attempt...some re-enactor no doubt

                        Hello,

for the record NO its not me!!!

a.between family and a job i dont have that much spare time!

b.I like to think im better looking than that,he has sort of a creepy silence of the lambs "put the lotion in the basket " look about him

c.if i was gonna make a fake wehrpass and soldbuch i would at least make myself something cool,a panzer commander,FJ,officer in the DAK,i would not make myself a unteroffizer in the LANDSHUTZ!!!!what kind of underachiever do you have to be to pick landshutz out of all things!"i am not good enough to be in a make believe SS unit"

that also got me thinking, besides the fact that i can see no purpose of haveing a wehrpass and soldbuch to do reinacting,do they check your ID and paybook at a make believe checkpoint???do they even have a landshutz reinactors and if so why??what important battles did the landshutz participate in?i can understand reinacting important historical battles, with important units SS,82nd airborn etc but the landshutz??it makes me think that maybe this was intended to fool newbies?besides that i cant see a purpose to putting that kind of effort into these things
