    Maybe I am a little bit parano but what do you think about the entrie EK 2


    Legit or Added post war ? ink is not discoloured and there is no stamp...

    Well, since there's no 19th month, you can be sure this is bad. The horrendous writing, lack of stamp are 2 other pretty clear indicators in this particular example.

      The partial Views you give us only allows a "first glance" Feeling, which is not that good in this case. The lack of Stamp and/or signature may also be period. For a more based opinion, please show first :
      - the Unit Pages (12-13)
      - list of campaigns (32-33)

        Unfortunately, regulations do not require signatures and stamps for every award in the Wehrpaß, unlike the Soldbuch, as the Wehrpaß was not to be in the man's possession until he was discharged. Late in the war, due to the brake down of record keeping, the Wehrpaß sometimes ended up with the owner. This provided ample opportunities for the owner or dealers to add awards. Therefore, one has to look for other indications, within the Wehrpaß, to hopefully verify award entries.
