    Major Gerhard von Templehoff Wehrpass

    I got this wehrpass from Detlev last week. For some bizarre reason Detlev split the soldbuch from the wehrpass and sold it seperately but I was unaware at the time. Has anyone out there got it? Perhaps to exchange scans if not sell it.

    Anyhow there was this entry in the wehrpass but I can't make out what the first word says. Anyone out there hazard a guess?

    That is interesting as he would have sworn an oath to Hitler and now as he was dead to Dönitz!!!!

    Never seen that before

    Otherwise his oath to Hitler would be found on page 11, Block 18.

          Hey Gary,

          Would it be possible to post scans of this WP? - I wanted to get it but missed out! I noticed that Soldbuch belonged to the same bloke on Monday and was thinking of getting it, but by Tuesday it was sold! Quite unusual for Detlev to have split the grouping though!

          Did you get any of the krim shield groupings he had that day?

            I didn't loook at the Krim group becuase it was to a non-combatant (initially). I don't know why the SB\WP was split but it happens more than it should. I can only think it was a mistake as there was financial gain to be made. Now they are split after spending over sixty years together. Unforgivable from a document collectors viewpoint really.
