Not good photo, but dog tag is original

By the way the upper holes look larger than the standard ones - such dog tags were often used in Waffen-SS units.

I agree. And first Army disc I see with that bigger upper holes SS style.

But this dog tag seems to be not as oval as SS style tags with bigger upper holes. Never seen this before.

A good one to the deport kompanie of Grenadier Ersatz Btl 484. Originally formed in Austria its possible the owner may have been an Austrian.
