This from a friend of mine....while GAB's are commonly seen on StuG combat veterans, virtually never do you see the award of a IAB.

It is unusual that the collar tabs lack piping. This soldier reminds me of a Skijager (who wore wrap around tunics and for whom an IAB would be typical).
