    Soldbuch - II.Pz.Fus.FGB?

    Sirs,
Recently I have filled up the collection new Soldbuch.
I have some questions on two last places of service which
    are noted in it soldbuch.

    1. In what area battled Pz.Jag.Abt.269 in 1945?
    2. In what area battled II.Pz.Fus.FGB in the end of 1945?
The structure of what division included this unit?
    And how to decipher "FGB"?
    Probably, it Feld-Strafgefangenen-Bataillon?
    Thank.

Panzerjäger-Abteilung 269 was part of the 269 Infantry division

    Could be that II.Pz.Fus.FGB is

Pz Fus. Company of the Fuhrer-Grenadier-Brigade?

      "Fus." is probably "Fuselier"

FGD is Führer Grenadier Division... Pz.Füs. is Panzer Füsiliere...

I haven't seen the rest of the soldbuch but if I had to judge it on that one entry I'd give it a wide berth.

Are there any other relevant entries that mention? Or with that handwriting?

                Gary,
                Here still.
I shall show other entries in some days (now I do not have opportunity
                to make scans).

                  Here one more viewing.
I had a new question: I have not found neither "Fus. Btl." nor "Pz. Rgt.2"
in structure of FGB. I looked here:
                  http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...Gliederung.htm
                  How it to explain?

Pz. Fus.Batl.(Gep.) ..was part of FGB consisting of a staff company, 4 combat companys 1-3 were rifle companys and 4th company was a heavy assault company and finally a supply company.
