I've seen this unit stamped in Alu as well as zinc using several stamp sets. Is this ekm steel?

Yes it's steel.

Would agree with Fox Terrier and steer clear of this one. There are many copies about and so much information available for the fakers to stamp out accurate details based on lists of members of the Division.

Not seen any originals in steel before to this unit.
