Waffen SS - one of the younges soldiers 1945

I picked up this nice SS Soldbuch - and was woundered - this boy was born 1928 - so he comes with a Age of 16 to the Waffen SS Rekruten Depot Kurmark.
Soldbuch is used from 16. April 1945 - and Equpment he got at 05. April 1945.....
The Rekruten depot was disbanded in middle of April 45.....so i think - he only got a small training and Clothes....and this was all in his soldiers life....

              Dear Schuasta,

is it possible to see a closer picture of the signature?

you have a really interesting pay book, stamp from "Rekruten Depot Kurmark" and handwritten "Rekruten Depot Böhmen"

The remains of the former Depot Kurmark should have been send to the Training ground "Böhmen" south of Praque in end of March/early April 1945 to reform as "Rekruten-Depot Böhmen"...

But I haven´t found any document to confirm that ... until yet

Are there any entries concerning a unit he was send to later???

              Regards yours Roland

                  Dear Schuasta,

                  Thank you!

The SS-Rekrutendepot „Böhmen“ hat a strength of 15 officers and 1094 non commissioned officers and men concerning the Befehlshaber der Waffen-SS Böhmen und Mähren, Abt. Ia Hü./g, Tgb.Nr. 1809/45 geh. Prag, den 6.April 1945, Stärkemeldung (Stand 1.4.1945)

This was the first a n d only entry in the "Stärkemeldungen", so I assume the Depot was formed in March 1945...

I was not able to identify the leader of the unit nor other officers,
so it would be nice, to „get“ the name of the one signed as leader of the sixth Company, maybe with a better scan of the signature...

With all the best yours Roland

I think the signature is that of SS Hstuf. Ernst Rosenfelder.
                    February 1945 he was with SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-Bataillon 18.

                      Dear Ian,

                      thank you very much,

Rosenfelder was the name, a friend of mine told me this morning, too (thank you Marten, too)

So he seems to be transferred from SS-Pz.Gren.A.u.E.-Btl. 18 to the training ground near Praque somehow in 1945…

Any further information concerning this “Rekruten-Depot” would be welcome

                      Regards yours Roland
