With how the corrosion,ageing looks on the back you would think that you wouldn't hardly see anything on the front as it would look like the back.!

To me it looks like the tag was stamped over the corrosion/ageing..

For me no chance to be good.. Stamps itself are after war. Disc must be a aluminium early VT disc with small upper holes.
This is a ground dug zink disc that has been fake stamped.

IMHO, very fake one ! Tag n° 26 must be in aluminium...

Never say never with ID tags.! As soon as something tries to be set in stone it gets shown otherwise eventually..
