      as interlude a beautiful document dalways September 13, 1944 while, as we saw the 26 Pz.Div. fought in Coriano ....
      A quittance-cyclostilate from the Division Command of the 26 Pz.Div, based in Santarcangelo di Romagna, behind the Marecchia River, 10 km from Coriano, (where the division will fight heavily a few days later) of a "purchase" (practically a requisition that will pay no one!) of a forage and a pig of 120 kg .....

                      Paul arrived in Italy on Anzio/Nettuno's front in March 20, 1944, in the Panzer-Grenadier Regiment 1027, an independent unit of the 14th Army. So on July 15, the Pz.Gre.Reg. 1027 was absorbed by the Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 9 of the 26 Pz.Gre.Div, with which he already fought alongside in Tuscany ...

                                After Anzio and Nettuno and the retreat from Rome, the Pz.Gren.Reg. 1027 fights in Southern Tuscany, where on July 15th, on the Cecina River, the 1027 wasd absorbed by the Panzer-grenadier-Regiment 9, and the Pz.Gren.Reg. 9 crossed the battle of the Tuscany until mid August 1944 on the Arno river (west of Florence) so it is transferred to the Gothic line on the Adriatic front
