    First Wehrpass; is it real?

    Friends,

    Hope you can help.

Today I bought the attached Wehrpass and just want to make sure it's not a fake. I am normally an "equipment guy" and don't normally make impulse purchases without doing my homework but this was relatively cheap I thought I would take a chance. To my untrained eye it looks & feels good but I would say that!

I've scanned the first couple of pages but if you need more please let me know.

Here is scan of page 7. Any help in deciphering what it means would be appreciated.

I have also included page 46 as this has the latest date. June 1942.

                  Hi Ian

                  Herbert Schmidt
                  was recruited in 1935 -
In 1936, after basic training, he served from October 1936 to September 1938 in 8th company of Infanterie-Regiment 70
After a follow-up medical and physical in Nov 1939 he was deemed "dienst-unfahig" meaning unfit for active service.
Finally in June, 1942 after another medical he was declared "wehruntauglich" meaning unfit for service in the Armed Forces and discharged from the Wehrmacht

                  .
