Can anybody tell me more story about this solider? Sorry I don't speak German and this kind of handwriting are difficult to recognize.

In WW2,he served in Infanterie-Regiment 455(His “Front-unit”)07.08.1940-28.07.1941--->134. Infanterie-Division. He was killed(by Granatsplitter /Shell Fragments)on the 28 July 1941.

A very rough summary:

He volunteered in 1935 and spent his first year in the 5th Kompanie of Infanterie Regiment 33. He moved on to Infanterie Regiment 66 before transferring to Infanterie Regiment 455. He was trained on the Gewehr 98, l.M.G. 08/15, Pistole 08 and Karabiner 98k. He was also trained with the light mortar. He was awarded the schützenabzeichen für gewehr, i.e. shooting award. He finally made the rank of Unteroffizier in July 1941. He spent most of his active service on the Eastern Front where he was eventually killed.

In his private life he was a blast master in a coal mine (Schießmeister).

Gustav Hauer actually was killed by a Granatvolltreffer - a direct hit from an artillery shell. More than likely, there was little or nothing left of his body. Sadly, he's not even listed on the German War Graves website.
