I am looking at the minute for a copy of your book in Germany!

I was advised to speak with you as you may have more information!

Do you have any more information? Or tips on how to find out more about him....

It is incredible that you have mentioned him in your book, now you can add a name to this soldier!
If you want a copy of my book, try Berliner Zinnfiguren. They may be out of stock because it's been a little while since they ordered from me. Otherwise, you can buy a copy directly from me (send me a PM).

As for where I found the information, well, I scoured all available sources, including every KTB und Anlagen that relates to the battle.

is your book available, i want to buy one.
I found no information about Inf.Rgt.6 being inside the Cholm pocket. There were a couple of soldiers from Inf.Rgt.606.

Follow this link if you want a copy of the book:

Here's his weapon, a Muck photo taken inside the siege.
Akira, I'm glad you posted this photo. When I saw the Wehrpass, I immediately looked at your photo to see if it was Becker. Despite some similarities, I didn't think it was him. My assumption was confirmed when I noticed the Obergefreiter chevron on his sleeve. Nevertheless, it may be one of Becker's men.

I can confirm that Akira has an incurable case of "Cholm fever".

Another "seek, and you will find" case.

An unnamed album from Pz.Pi.59 has long been in my collection.
Now it is clear that the owner was Becker.

            A reunion after years!

Akira, this is great news! It's a great feeling to add a name to a previously unidentified face.
