Nearly two years on from the original post; http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ight=luftwaffe this pass still has more questions than answers



I welcome your thoughts;

1/ The "Fontana" signatures appear to be correct however some have the appointment under the signature stamped and others hand written !!

2/ The Feldpost numbers (with the "Fontana") is Feldpost 38048

(28.2.1941-29.7.1941) I. Gruppe Kampf-Geschwader z.b.V. 1,
(12.3.1943-7.9.1943) I. GruppeTransportgeschwader 1.

3/ "Fontana" served 3./KG zbV 102, IV/TG 4 and Staffelkapitän 3./TG 1

4/ Still no idea why he got the EK 1& 2 and Frontflugspange in Gold?

5/ Fliegerhorst Nordhausen was involved in "Beethoven-Gerät" ??

6/ No note on him undertaking pilot training?

Well, there is something really wrong with this Wehrpass. He is getting flight awards while still in Nachrichten units. He is not with any flight units until 3.45.
