Can anyone help with this Fp Nr

01072A -period is Feb '44. Comes from an SS Soldbuch.


Soldiers previous unit(dates from Oct '43) is Fp Nr 31097 which as far as I can research is a 'Werkstatt Kompanie' in 2 SS PZ DIV'DR,.

Is there Fp Nr website?

That would be:

Stab Landesschützen Bataillon 503, around Feb. 1944 would have been in France (La Fere/Oise).

Not an SS unit!

There is not a web site for FP Nr. that I am aware of!

Many thanks, that Fp Nr was his last entered Wehrsold in Feb 44, he died in July 44 cause not known just a scribbled entry on the first page of his soldbuch, in Sutterlin so v difficult to decipher.

I have another Fp Nr again from an ss soldbuch soldier was in 4 Kp SS Regt Deutschland. Fp Nr dates from Mar/Apr 45 it is authorising Wehrsold. number is Fp Nr 11161.

As an aside this soldier was wounded in July 44 and sent to Reserve Lazarett 9/528- Do you know if this was a Western front based Lazarett?

That FP Nr. belonged to:

3 Leichtkranken-Kriegslazarett, Kriegslazarett-Abteilung 619, 1944/45 Heeresgruppe Süd (St. Pölten, Horn/Lower Austria).

Regarding Reserve-Kriegslazarett-Abteilung 528, Heerestruppe: In the West, 1943 in Nancy (4.11.1943 Lazarett basis in the West);1944/45 Ob. West, lastly Mzey, Bad Kreuznach, Neustadt/Weinstraße and local area.
