ID tag help

Any help as to originality and unit ID is much appreciated. Mike

It doesn't follow anything I'm familiar with. The green crud on it is a bit strange.

It is suspect to me, but as it is only a Panzer Artillery unit tag it hardly seems an item to fake.

Where has it come from?

Simon, a Army buddy bought the tag at a flea market in Northeast Italy. Not sure what he paid but not much. Thanks for the help.
