I have this LW soldbuch.
I want to know where was this unit between 01/06/1944 and 31/12/1944.

His field unit in August 1944 was Luftnachrichten-Ausbildungs-Rgt. 305 :

To me it's not clear, from when on he was with this unit and I also cannot decipher his prior unit.

But it seems clear, that he was several times in hospital in France from 1943 onward and again on 24 July, 1944,
where he was in Reserve-Lazarett Contrexeville, 40km west of Epinal. It was always because of code -22- :
Other digestive complaints, in his case probably an ulcer (Magengeschwür / Ulkus ; entry on 22.9.44).

From Contrexeville he was transferred to the Reich in a Lazarettzug and finally arrived at Res.Laz. Aichach, 15km NE of Augsburg.
There he was relieved on 2. Oct. with remark : Revier, Ersatztruppe.
Therefore he was transferred to 6. Luftnachrichten-Ersatz-Kp. / Luftnachrichten-Ersatz-Rgt. 6 (Augsburg),
where he received further treatment until finally was transferred to a Luftnachrichten-Gerätelager of Luftgau-Kdo 6 (?!)
on January, 11th, 1945. (Not totally sure on this last unit.)

According to the link you got it does say Nancy and as he was in hospital in Nancy in '43 I'd say that fits pretty well.

Hi all !

Sorry for the late reply.

I still cannot decipher the entry prior to his appointment to Ln.Ausb.Rgt 305. But if it is somehow pointing
to the 7. Funkmess-Ausbildung-Kp., this unit was located in Neufchateau, 20km NW of Contrexeville (and 50 km SW of Nancy).
(see the given link).

Kriegslazarett 528, where he was in 1943/44, was also located in Nancy according to Tessin.
Therefore I think it is very likely that the other members are right and he was in the Nancy area also in June/July 1944.
