Picture about a soldier (kia in russia) framed w/deathcard+burial

Hi guys!
I never did research about deathcard but i think now it's time to learn and to be helped (if you can ), i am curious where this soldier fought and in which company was part of.
I don't speak german and my translator is crazy... anyway i am glad to share you this piece of history!

Your soldier probably died during the heavy artillery firing before the Battle of Kursk during the day of heavy rain which caused a delay of the starting of the tank battle...
According to VB database he died at 1,5 Km North of Russkaja-Beresowka and actually is buried in the KursK Friedhof Block 3, line 18, grave 860.
Why don't you ask to the VB an actually picture of the grave?

He was killed by an artillery shrapnel.
There is a little typo the letter - whoever wrote it, wrote Atelleriesplitter instead of Artilleriesplitter.
