Is anyone able to help with translating this Luftwaffe Wehrpass entry.

5.01.43 Einsatz im Mittelmeerraum (?)
19.02.43 ?? Stab. Sizilien

Am I reading Mittelmeerraum correctly? and also I have no idea of the entry prior to Stab on the second line.

Any help will be gratefully received indeed.

Yes you are reading 'Mittelmeerraum' correctly - it is referring to the Mediterranean area.

What exactly would 'Vg.-Geb. Sizilien' refer to? I must admit that I had read 'Stab" in that sentence.
