Wehrpass entry needs deciphering

Picked up this did nothing been nowhere wehrpass today and wonder if anyone can decipher this entry please and the reason for the red cross

The upper part says he's supposed to be sent to a non-fighting unit due to being the last son.

And just as a guess, I think it's crossed out due to being fully released from the army/military.

Hi all !

I fully agree with the explanation by Hank on the upper (crossed out) part.

But in the second part it says :
"Entfällt lt. HVBl. 44(?) Teil B xxxx etc...)"
Translates to : Cancelled by order XXX ...

So the previous order was dismissed and probably therefore crossed out.

When the war was in it's first years there was a very complicated system in place to protect those fathers with many children, sole surviving sons, etc., but that of course all changed in the end.
