    wehrpass battleship Bismarck

    Hi Guy's

I can buy this wehrpass which should belong to a member of the famous battleship Bismarck. His name is Wilhelm Wyak. The problem is that I cannot find his name on the crewlist. I also doubt on the entries in the wehrpass.

    I would appreciate your comments.

    Thanks
    Marcel

This man is not on Volksbund (name is Wysk not Wyak!)..... Pics are not good but all about Bismarck look like post war aded IMHO.

I dont like it one bit. Seems like one of those opened WP that have no service entries that has been 'improved'
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

I own a genuine Bismarck related Wehrpass and on the one shown here the stamp doesn't match for his MIA entry and the signature is a fakers attempt. Also the signers rank & position details are stamped on the original one I have and not hand written.

And in conversation with Ian, it has become apparant that all the unit entries on Page 16 & 18 are the exact same as the ones in mine including dates (although all of the entries in mine are in black ink) and the one shown here has a Stammrollen Nr just one number out from mine. So I wouldn't mind betting that the one shown here has the entries copied from images of mine. And on the top of Page 16 (2 Admiral...), the entry in the original is stamped, not written.

There isn't anything I like about this one. The OKM stamp really stinks!

We are curious to read who is trying to sell you this Wehrpass and what's his "story" is?

First of all thanks for all your comments.
I also found a few entries very suspicious but that is why we have forums like this. ,just to help each other.

This wehrpass is on sale on a Dutch website called MARKTPLAATS.

The seller is a collector and says he only sells original items but sell this "rare" wehrpass for only € 200.00 ,which is a joke if it would be a real one.

He can keep the damn thing.

Thanks guy's and keep up the good work.
