    Panzer Aufklärungs Abt. 4 - Heavy Wounded

    Picked up this week;
    Soldbuch, Doc for Woundbadge Gold, Workingbook, and some Papers from his Hospital times.

    Soldbuch for a young Guy born 1925, Serice in Wehrmacht from 1943 to end of 44 !
    Served as "Panzerschütze" to Pz.Aufkl.Ers.Abt. 7 Munich, later to 2. Panzeraufklärungsabteilung 4- 4. Panzerdivison. At October 10 in 1944 this Guy was heavy Wounded with Scrapnells from a Anti Tank Gun in The face ! He lost all two Eyes !

    Awards:
    At August 20 in 1944 PAB in Bronce
    At October 18 in 1944 Woundbadge Gold for 1 Wound !
    - He was honored for the EK 2 - but dont got it...

    A lot of detailed papers about his heavy Wounds in his two eyes....Promotion to Unteroffizier !

    Verry hard for this young Guy !

            Yes, a viscous wound that ended his sight.

              Yes in the Krankenblatt - the Doctors write verry detailed about his wounds....not crazy for a young boy with 19 years...

                Yes, many more were similarly wounded. Some even younger. Your group is a good example of the real cost of war.
