    Signature from a Leibstandarte officer

    Hello guys,

Can someone tell me, which obersturmbahnführer is behind this signature.
It should be a member of the leibstandarte in the time-range 1939-1942 I guess.
Thanks in advance for your help!

    Cheers,

    Oberst40

Could it be that this signature belongs to Führer of the 2.Krad-Kompanie Hugo KRAAS?

    Opinions please.

    Best regards,

Just do a search on this site to see other examples of Hugo Kraas's signature. This doesn't look like it.
For people to help it is always best to show the whole item rather than just a snippet. It will help to narrow down the possibilities by knowing dates and what component of LSSAH to look into.

        Signature

        Hello,
It's the signature of Kurt Leroux.
        Best wishes,

I also thought it could be Leroux but I'm not convinced . This is from the 1936/39

time frame. This soldier was KIA in Poland .

As Hucks requested post better info.

                As requested some additional information.

The wehrpass belonged to a SS-sturmmann BRAUN.
                He is killed in 1941.
He joined the Leibstandarte in 1939, and was involved in the campaigns, Holland, France, Greece and Russia.

His CO at the time he was killed was Gerd Bremer.

So in the timeframe, the signature could be from Leroux.

                Cheers,

Another question related to this topic, should it be possible to find out in which zug, ss-mann Hans-Joachim Braun was in the may 1940 period (10 may till 15 may, invasion of Holland timeframe)

Can someone provide me with detailed personal information of the 15.kradschutzen kompanie of the LSSAH.

                    Thanks in advance!

Thanks Oberst40 for scans. I feel it is Leroux's albeit noticeable changes in the

signature. Lehmann last mention's him as being on the Stab of LAH in 1939 and

his position disappears (personalabteilung) around then but he's still around to close

out your WP in 1941 though not listed as being on the Stab.

Look at Lehmann's volume #1 & 2 and Meyer's "Grenadiers" to read more about

                          Braun.
