I understand that this SS gesundheitsbuch is a personal health record.
Am I right?

Is there something special with this one?

Are SS G-buch less encountered than their Heer counterparts?

This is the standard health book (Gesundheitsbuch), issued to all men when they muster for military service. It is normally kept with the Wehrstammbuch (except the Kriegsmarine, which kept it with the Führungsbuch) at the ersatz unit until he is sent to a frontline unit. Then it was returned to the SS Ergänzungsstelle, which in turn sent it to the Wehrbezirk.

The only two entries a bit remarkable are that he had an otitis media in the age of 8 years

and Angina during his service with RAD Abt. 1/112 in Dec 1943.
