    SS Beitrags-Quittungskarte

    Can anyone tell me anything about these contribution cards? I have several of these and have not been able to figure out the purpose of them. Were SS members expected to make monthly contributions to the SS? or was this some kind of supporters contribution card.

    Well, on the sides with stamps, one part is the monthly dues for being in the SS, and the other monthly dues for Non-party (NSDAP?) members.

      Thanks for the response. So if I understand this correctly, members of the SS were required to make monthly dues payments to the SS despite drawing a salary for being in the SS? or were these dues payments a voluntary contribution?

        Sounds like [dare I say it?] .... "union dues".... to me.
