            Very nice one IMHO.
            but, wasn't Wulkan an Ashkenazi surname?!
            Elias Wulkan doesn't seem a german name to my eyes...interesting for sure.

              Not German, but a foreign volunteer in the Waffen SS.

                Ralph, the guy was from an ethnic german area in Rumania, where the 7. Prinz Eugen enlisted many recruits, so I expected a typical Volksdeutschen name.
                Elias Wulkan sounds as a typical Ashkenazi name to me, but of course he could be a mischling.

                        @T.K. you're right! But, like you well know, many PE members was taken from other Romanian's lands (but from Czech too). For exemple this PE Kannonier became from Cernowitz near the Romanian/Ukranian border...
