    Unknown Unit

It is to a field artillery unit, but I cannot figure out the correct title from the entry. There was a late-war unit Heeres-Artillerie-Batterien (t.bew./mot) 1092 of which I lean towards the entry belonging to. The entry comes from a late-war issued Soldbuch to an Artillery Officer. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    You are probably correct as I read 1. H. Art. B---. 1092.

      Another clarification needed.

On the medical page there is an entry dated 12.22.44 for which I cannot quite make out. Wound appears to have been for shell splinters (31b).

Thanks Pauke. That is about what I got out of it. There was also a Landschützen Btl. 1092 and Alarm Btl. 1092, but those units do not match as the unit in question is for an Artillerie related unit 1092.

Thanks for the links Simon. Interestingly the gun was used in both the artillery and PAK roles. The model link you posted is actually pretty good at showing the size of these guns. A number of them survived the war and are on display. Apparently this gun was also the one used on Jagdtigers.

Thanks Soldbuch. He was admitted to the hospital on 12.22.44 and it was noted his gasmask was not with him. First time I can recall seeing that. An odd entry for a medical page.
