My friend has this neat driver's licence issued in 1940 to Oberst Bruno Ubl. Here is a link with some information on this officer: http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...U/UblBruno.htm During the war he commanded Infanterie-Regiment 692 and later was promoted to Generalmajor. He does not seem to have had a particularly exciting wartime career, serving mostly in rear area positions later in the war. I still think this is a neat ID to a high-ranking officer and I would like to buy it from my friend. I'm not sure what to offer that would be fair, most of the Fuehrerscheine I have came in groups and have really very little value, I think these are somewhat underappreciated. Any input would be appreciated.
