        Good question!

Could you also show the rest of page 22 as an enlagement. - and could we see the other pages.

page 22 and 24 was failed that was the only bad thing on it

Was it normaly that the Reserve Lazarett stamp was of the Ek1 and TDB entry and both was signed by the self Major the have signed the Woundbadge entry on february ???

Maybe he got the Ek1 , TDB and Woundbadge all in the Reserve lazarett for his action that he see before ???

            Regards Thomas

That is strange. I have not seen such an example before Thomas. Along with the Hospital stamps one would expect to see a Chefarzt, or Stabsarzt ect...as the signing authority for the 3 awards in question.

I believe the Wehrmachtsfürsorge- und Versorgungsoffizier (Armed Forces Welfare and Supply Officer) was also the Betreuungsoffizier für Lazarette (Support Officer).
So in that context there is no problem with the rank of the officer authorising the awards.

                    /Ian

Good catch Ian. I had not thought about the Versorgungsoffizier. Now you have me curious to dig through the collection to find any similar examples.

                          Hi Thomas,

                          Nice catch.

Even with the missing pages, I still like your Soldbuch.

                          Best regards

                          Eric-Jan
