A very nice Soldbuch, Thomas - Congrats! When I saw this one up for grabs I knew it would sell rather quickly. I think the price was very fair for both the seller and the buyer

Great Soldbucch, but can anyone read how the PVA award is noted?
I can read "Pz. ???? Abzeichen", but the 'vernichtungs' doesn't look like 'vernichtungs'???
I also can't make out the name, Adolf B???

        Cheers,

        Neil

          It says Pz. Nahbekämpfung Abzeichen.
His name appears to be Adolf Heinle.

Yes, Adolf Heinle from Landau in der Pfalz

I like the fact that the TDB was awarded while he was with Panzerzerstörer Kompanie 484

                Thomas,

All I can find at the moment is it reinforced and came under 371 Inf.Div. from September 1944.
His EK I was awarded by that Division.

It makes this tank destruction most likely a confirmed Ofenrohr kill.
