    Grouping JG 2 Richthofen 1944-45

    I got this Group from the JG Richthofen.
    In the Flugbuch is Flight No. 1 - to 416 (his last was a Exident) complete. There are some EINSATZ Flights - combat missions !
    Soldbuch is complete - only his photo missed. At his airplane-License you can see - trainin for FW 190 !!!!
    The guy dont have some awards...i think he got not to much Combat Missions ! NO Victory !

                  I have found the following information and perhaps he never flew again?

                  29.09.44 : Uffz. Valentin Gerlach (10.) * 22.06.21 Obernau/Main Verwundet.
                  Fw 190 A-8 173 828
                  Flugplatz Königsberg/Nordmähren Überschlag bei Landung, 17.30 Uhr
                  Übungsflug, 30%, EM: 68 421/399

                  Are there any entries in the documents after September 1944?

                      Ian, in the Flight book - after his Exident no more Missions !
                      I his Soldbuch are more entrys after the Exident, he got in a Hospital, at February 1945 he have Healty-Holiday.....
                      I think he dont fly anymore...!
