    SS Ausweis 8/85 Standarte

    Picked up this recently, and wondered about the stamps/signatures....I assume the Himmler one is a stamp, but the Standartenfuerer (Teufel ?) appears to be
    hand-written...would this be correct/normal ?

    The bottom stamp is embossed over the paper/photo.

    I'd be most happy to hear of any other comments about this Ausweis...

    Also, what kind of value on this....so I know whether to be honest with the missus about what I paid for it.....

    A 100% original SS-Ausweis. You are correct, the Himmler signature is in fact a facsimile. The hand-signed signature on the reverse is that of Fritz Teufel. As for value, I'd say around $200 - $250
