Book received yesterday...of course I taken a quick look and I was more than impressive how beauty it is not only for the great pictures inside but for the clear and deep explanation of every single page of the WP and SB. This, I am more than sure, will become a real bible for any collector specially considering the great value between quality and price!!!
A special thanks to Antonio and Alberto for their exceptional work!!!

Great news that it will be out in English! I am very interested in this part of the hobby but I don't know enough about Soldbücher en Wehrpässe yet to invest big money in interesting items. I don't wanna get burned and lose lots of money so I prefer to study a lot first and this book seems like a great help

I don't know to be honest. I can read German very well so a German written book would also be fine for me to have. Perhaps the more experienced collectors in this field know some books worth to have, besides this great looking book from Antony?!

Don't know about German language books but here are the English language ones, and websites also...

            http://www.soldbuchweb.com
            http://www.militarytrader.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=2460
            Pt 1 - http://www.dererstezug.com/SoldbuchAnatomy1.htm
            Pt 2 - http://www.dererstezug.com/SoldbuchAnatomy2.htm
            Pt 3 - http://www.dererstezug.com/SoldbuchAnatomy3.htm

            ...and for publications...
A Collector's Guide To World War II German Wehrpasses & Soldbuchs by Emilie Caldwell Stewart
Collecting World War II German Military Pay & Service Books (ISBN:1-905142-10-2) by Nigel Allison (Ulric Of England)
            Wehrpass by Emilie Caldwell Stewart
German Third Reich Era Documents VOL 1 - Paramilitary & Civil Organisations (ISBN:0-9666122-0-5) by Jeffrey F Young & Daniel W Meinz
German Third Reich Era Documents VOL 2 - Military (ISBN:0-9666122-1-3) by Jeffrey F Young & Daniel W Meinz
German Third Reich Era Documents VOL 3 - Special Edition (ISBN:0-9666122-2-1) by by Jeffrey F Young & Daniel W Meinz

The Emilie Caldwell Stewart books were printed in limited numbers (about 1000 each I think) so are hard to come by and are quite expensive when they come on the market.

Not that I'm aware of but you never know, someone might know of such a website.

Thanks for the replies....and unfortunate that there are no such pages anymore. The Soldbuch page helped me a lot to get started in this field of collecting.

                        Marcel,

There once was a fine website for Wehrpäße online by WAF member Gary T.

Sorry to see that he took it from the internet long time agao.

                        yours friendly

Thanks for the reply Eric-Jan! A pity the site has been removed....this now means I have to wait for the English translation of the book
