Panzer Rgt. 2 Soldbuch for discussion...

As I write this, the auction for this Soldbuch is quickly coming to an end. That said, what does everyone think of the Numbered PAB entries on page 22 ???

I think it has chances, still doubtful as it s missing the stamp but i like it or better "it would fool me".

An explanation of the lack of stamp could it be the late date when it was awarded

best thing would be to see asll of the pages of the soldbuch to compare the writings if any on the same period as the award but the seller hasnt posted them

It is also a "Zweitschrift" or replacement Soldbuch and I agree that with the late entry it could be good. After getting my fingers burnt recently, I personally would stay away from this one and would prefer to spend more for a Soldbuch with documentation.

I think it is OK, but it will be too expensive...

I own a Soldbuch of a member of Panzeraufklärungsabteilung 23, he got the PAB bronce "25" on the 20th of April 1945 and the stamp is also missing.

I got that directly from the widow with the award docs. On the award doc PAB bronce "25" there is a stamp.
The award doc was made by the PzAA 23, the entry of the award in the SB was made by the company, so this may be an explanation for the missing stamp.

not too bad at all for a PAB50 holder
