H.Major Barbinger
Hallo!
I hope someone is able to help me..!!
Some years ago I found many german objects, gasmasks, maps, wooden boxes.. , in the house of my parents in northern Italy where, at the end of the war in 1945, many german sodiers passed returning back towards germany.
One of these maps has an handwritten name, with a pencil: "H.Major Barbinger".
Does someone know a way to identify this officer? as I wrote, the only thing I know is that it was in an unit in northern Italy..
perhaps there is a center to ask for? a historical research center..
