    "SS - Soldbuch"

    Hello everybody,

can anyone give me a hand with the following "SS-Soldbuch"?

I would like to sell it for the daughter of the bearer. Because she is not well off, I would like to get as much as possible for it.

Her father startet his career in the police as an officer and was taken over by the SS, where he got a "SS-Sturmbannführer" beginning of 1945.
During the war he first served in a "Polizei-Artillerie-Regiment" and changed to a "SS-Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment".

He achieved the following decorations: EK I, EK II, GAB an the "Ostmedaille"

The "Soldbuch" is used - as you can see - but complete.

What would be a reasonable price for the book?

    Hello Vitus,

I think some more pictures are needed to price this item.
    Units, signatures, photo, etc.

    regards,
    Floris

I do not trust me assess the value, but please note:

If is not the owners photo included , this fact IMHO significantly affects the price of the Soldbuch ...

            addition

            addition:

There´s no photo of the bearer glued inside the "Soldbuch" - and there is no hint, that a photo has been removed. But I have a seperate photo of the bearer in his SS-uniform as a "Hauptsturmmann", which hasn´t been glued either.

Great! Now all you must do is link the photo to the soldbuch so that people know that it is really him (and not just some picture of some guy).

What you need as proof is another ID-document (passport or something) which has a picture of him.
