    SS-SCHARFSCHTZ.-A.U.E.BTL = SS-Scharfschützen-Ausbildungs- und Ersatz-Bataillon.

      In autumn 1944 a SS-Scharfschuetzen-Ausbildungs- und Ersatz-Bataillon was establishd. It was located in Teinitz, Breschan und Leschan.

      Also Panzer Grensdier Schule Kienschlag had a Scharfschützen Ausbildungs- und Ersatz Bataillon.


      I think our Forum member "Hundestaffel" knows more about this.

            SS Panzer Grenadier Schule Kienschlag did indeed have a Scharfschützen Ausbildung und Ersatz Battalion, it's CO being Sturmbannfuhrer Josef Leitner.
