thanks guys sent scans to garry maybe he can upload better this man was injured in his hand and then he was severly injured paralysed out off the 3 awards if this is gen would he not receive a silver wound badge? it says in the accompanying paperwork that he was in hospitalfrom4 11 43 to nov 44 then in landschtz btl 711 div 411 at bergen belsen a ta unit until he discharged unfit for service in march 45 once again why go to all the trouble off puting in these awards and if they are bogus this was the more expensive off the 3 then would you say to get my money or exchange for something else as was from a dealer he had so manny that he may not have seen it himself thats what you get for buying in a rush have looked at a couple off my others and i must say there is a difference as i am still learning thinkit is best to ask cheers doug

The first award entry one with the Inf. Assault, Silver Wound etc is a sure fire, 100%, 24 carat gold fake.
The bottom awards entries from one the other Soldbuchs is perfectly original.
Although the wounds would indeed qualify the holder of the first soldbuch for a Silver Wound Badge if you look at the time of his wound (Nov 43) and the date of the award (Feb 43) you can see they do not correspond.
Incidentally where did you get this one - was it a London Dealer beginning with G?
