Hi, thought I would share this primary source with you. It belonged to my Grandfather, a British army Officer who was captured in France 1940. This was one of the camps he was in before being liberated in 1945 by US forces. Its an interesting read and gives a good insight into the attitude of the Germans to Western prisoners they held, (Geneva convention adhered to) as opposed to the brutal treatment of the Slavic foes.
