Too bad that HaEn is no longer posting since he lastly served in Panzerjaeger Battalion 60 and might be able to assist you. .... after getting into trouble, he was given the opportunity of a court martial or joining the panzerjaeger unit (he called it the himmelsfahrt battalion or something like that). Looking at his Stammkarte, HaEn was initially assigned to 2/SS-Wachtbattalion 3; then to 5./SS-Frw. Grn. Rgt 83; and finally to Felders. Btl. One of the stamps has 5 company's Feldpostnummer: 21666B.

According to HaEn, he served under Hstf. Friedrich Ziegler as his melder. After mouthing off to the wrong person about his disgust at seeing prisioners being exceuted along the road (while returning from delivering a message), Ziegler gave him the choice of joining the panzerjaeger battalion or having a courtmartial. HaEn's Platoon Commander in the 60th battalion was SS-Untesturmfuehrer Auke Pattist (who died in March 2001 in Spain).

I've seen HaEn's Stammkarte and it is signed firstly by Helle as "Hauptsturmfuehrer u. Komp. Chef." Can't decypher the other three signatures.

I had the honor to "recreate" HaEn's "lost" SS-Soldbuch some years ago and send it to him as a surprise. He received the Wound Badge in Black, War Service Cross with Swords (when he was crashed his krad while being straffed by a Jabo aircraft), Infantry Assault Badge in Bronze, and the Iron Cross II Class (I think when he disabled a tank with a panzerfaust).

      Best regards,

        Hello

        Ok thank you guy

I managed to find the information that I seek on the link between the ss-Panzerjäger-kompanie "nordwest" and the freiw.grenadier - divsion 'landstorm nederland' 34.ss

the Panzerjäger kp nordwest was created in 1941 to be subordinated to the befehlshaber der waffen ss "Netherlands"

In 1944 it is split and gives thus rise to two companies separate, based all the two a Scheveningen

        It's the 1.et 2. Panzerjäger kompanie "nordwest"

In January 1944, the area of Scheveningen is transformed into Fortress and his command is entrusted to the ss - obf.Tzschoppe which control the following units 1 and 2. SS.PZ.KP.Nordwest
        SS-flak-batterie "clingendaal"
        SS-stamp-kp "nordwest"

The 1 and 2 ss-pz-kp "nordwest" will serve as core to the anti-tank battalion of the 34.ss - freiw.grenadier - division "landstorm nederland

In the 34 Division ss 'landstorm nederland' the 1 and 2 ss-pz-jg. - kp "nordwest" will be called Ss - Panzerjäger - abteilung 60 order by the ss-Hauptsturmführer Friedirici

            Hello to all

I read that elements of 34. SS-Freiwilligen Grenadier Division division Landstorm Nederland we participate in the battle of Berlin.

HANS WENK was transferred by the LSSA to the the ss-Panzerjäger-kompanie " nordwest " and To SS - Panzerjäger-Abteilung 60 ind the 34 Ss-freiwilligen grenadier division.

Wenk Hans has receveid a panzerfraust in March 1945 it is possible that it is fought in the battle of Berlin ?

            thank you

                Hello,
I was reading your old thread about your Leibstandarte soldbuch. Sadly your old scans have disapeared.
I am researching 1940-43 Leibstandarte entries. Could I please ask you for images from pages 1,2,3 and 4 of this early soldbuch?

                Many many tanks in advance

I could not send you a PM since it seems your have reached your maximum storeage space for these.
